Who we need

We are looking for a Delivery Manager who will facilitate the timely production of software through the effective management of team members and work schedules, clear any impediments that may slow down the team’s progress on a project, and set the timelines on which products will be delivered.
The company builds a management layer on top of Terraform, which helps DevOps scale to their entire organization. As an engineering organization, the team follows a DevOps approach as well, researching cloud services, adopting best practices, and using Terraform throughout, which helps us better understand problems and use cases.

Role overview

Expectations from candidates:

● 3+ years of full-time practice as a Project Manager / Delivery Manager in the software development industry (preferably in product development)● Experience in creating and supporting transparent and a predictable delivery process in long-term projects based on various Agile approaches (Scrum, Kanban)● Deep understanding and practical experience with Agile approaches (Scrum, Kanban)● Proficiency in development lifecycle metrics● Experience in requirement analysis, effort estimating, project scheduling, risk and change management● Productive experience to balance risk and effort between strategic business change and ongoing operations

Would be as a plus

● PMP or other management-related certifications● Familiarity with different software development approaches● Technical background● English level upper Intermediate or higher

Tech stack of the product:

Frontend: React, TypeScriptBackend: Python, MySQL.

Responsibilities:

● Own the delivery commitment of the team and make sure to deliver what has been agreed and up to the quality standards our customer expectations● Together with the Product Owners define product requirements and deliverables. Make sure realistic commitments are given● Manage risks, anticipate problems before they arise● Set up metrics and reporting framework, arrange the work of software teams in a way to ensure timely, predictable deliverables of product increments via establishing an effective release management process with an expected level of quality● Increase performance of existing teams, as well as scale the teams without losing control, the effectiveness of their works, and quality of the outcomes● Identificate the obstacles which slow down the team’s performance and ability to innovate and offer a strategy
